Not recommended to visit on your own. While there are enough directional signs, there is no context and you won't be able to visit the houses. If you go with a tour guide, you'll have a better experience. It seems bicycles are the main way to tour.

Located amidst peaceful and natural surroundings, this village is a hidden gem that is not to be missed. The lush green rice fields and beautiful waterfall make for a truly picturesque experience. The village is also known for its special table, which has a top that can move in a circular motion with the energy of the person who touches it. This unique feature adds to the charm of the village and is a must-see attraction. In addition to the beautiful scenery, the village also offers some of the best local food around. Overall, Loc Yen ancient village is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a peaceful escape in a stunning natural setting, with the added bonus of great food and unique experiences.
Such a lovely, peaceful and clean village. - It is about 1,5 hour drive from Hoi An to the village, easy and beautiful scenery on the way here. - I was quite impressed by how it is nice and well taken care of, many houses have beautiful stone entrance path leading to the main house, and green tree fence. - You can take a leisure walk in the village or rent bicycles at the community house. - Meals can be ordered from some local family such House of Mr Suu, or at the local restaurant or a Homestay like Đào Gia Trang. At the time I visit, there’s no Homestay in the village yet but I guess soon there be. But in general, I think a day trip is fine.Highly recommend to visit it soon
Found this little gem on the way to my friend's hometown, such an amazing place and beautiful people who always take care of cultural value of the village for next generation. Definitely worth to visit !
